Pixels is a live action/animated film released by Sony Pictures in 2015. The movie is about aliens in the form of video game characters coming to attack earth. Pac-Man appears as a lead villain in the film.
Connections to the Pac-Man series[]
Pac-Man appears in the movie as one of the arcade invaders. He destroys New York City, eating everything in his path. A fictionalized version of Pac-Man's creator Toru Iwatani, portrayed by Denis Akiyama, tries to reason with him; Pac-Man bites his hand off, and continues rampaging through the city.
