Ghost Bayou is the second to the last level in Pac-Man World 2, third level in ghost island and generally 24th level in the game. It is also the longest level which involves a lot of switches and dialogue cutscenes, all of them the Wormwood talking (except the last one in the level when the tree dies and Spooky appears). The main enemy is Skeletons, and later in the level the Wormwood tests you and asks you to destroy 20 of his "skeletal minions before the sands of time run out in 30 seconds", and if he doesn't, "his time will truly run out" (instant death). He asks Pac-Man to do this twice (which makes a grand total of 40). There are also short cuts to the end as well.
Short Cut[]
At this level, there is a Short Cut that allows you to shorten the level, just after the bridge ends, run to the right and run as soon to possible to end. Even the time of the time trial is 6:42, the level can be done in less than a minute and a half.
Trivia[]
- This level has the highest number of pac-dots in the game 535 pac-dots, the second place goes to the level "Ice River Run" level, which has 333 pac-dots, 202 less than the Ghost Bayou.
- This is the only level in the game that has switches and dialogue cutscenes.
- This level also has the highest number of melons in the game (13), the second place goes to the level "Haunted Boardwalk", with 9 Melons.
- Final level to contain a Galaxian.
