Chomp-Chomp, renamed to Pac-Buddy, appears in Pac-Man Museum+ as an unlockable NPC and a collectable figure. He appears in his Pac-Man World design.

Appearance[]

Chomp-Chomp is a dog with a round, Pac-Man-like body. In his initial debut in the TV series, he had dot eyes, a greyish blue body, brown snout and black spots. In the cancelled localization of Pac & Pal, Pac-Man & Chomp-Chomp, he had brown spots, a peach snout and a brighter gray of fur. Beginning with his first non Bally Midway-published Pac-Man game, Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures, his skin color became yellow, accompanied with brown ears and the removal of spots and his colored snout, which becomes the same color of his body.

In Pac-Man World, Chomp-Chomp was given a redesign that makes the dog proportioned closer to a real-world dog. In this design, he is shaped like a dog, with pie eyes like Pac-Man, black spots over his ears and body and a white snout. In Pac-Man World 2, his body design becomes rounded and has a much larger face with pie eyes and brown ears, similar to a regular Pac-Person's body. In Pac n' Roll, his design bears resemblance to his designs from the TV series and Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures, with an additional peach spot surrounding his left eye. In Pac-Man Pop, his design is similar to that of the TV series. but with white irises and his snout being the same color as his body. Since Pac-Man Museum +, Chomp-Chomp (known as Pac-Buddy since said title) returned to his original Pac-Man World design, albeit his body has noticeably shrunk and has taller eyes like the Pac-People.
